Denver Broncos Achieve Seventh Straight Victory Against Las Vegas Raiders

The Denver Broncos continued their impressive streak by defeating the Las Vegas Raiders 10-7 at home, marking their seventh consecutive win.

Both teams faced challenges in possession due to windy conditions in Denver, resulting in a combined total of just over 400 yards. The Raiders, now with a record of 2-7 following this defeat, initially took the lead when Ashton Jeanty scored a four-yard rushing touchdown late in the first quarter.

However, the Broncos” defense responded strongly, sacking quarterback Geno Smith six times throughout the game. After a slow start that saw them wait until their fifth possession to earn a first down, the Broncos equalized just before halftime when Bo Nix connected with Troy Franklin for a seven-yard touchdown pass.

In the second half, the only scoring came from Broncos kicker Wil Lutz, who successfully converted a 32-yard field goal at the end of the third quarter after the Broncos blocked a Raiders punt deep in their territory. The Raiders had a chance to tie the game, but Daniel Carlson”s 48-yard field goal attempt missed to the right.

With the win, the Broncos improved their record to 8-2, as they managed to run down the clock effectively to secure the victory.
