Jonathan Taylor Sets Colts Franchise Record for Rushing Touchdowns

Jonathan Taylor made history on Sunday by breaking the franchise record for rushing touchdowns with an impressive 83-yard score during the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Falcons. This remarkable play, which took place at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, marked the 65th rushing touchdown of his career, surpassing the previous record of 64 set by Pro Football Hall of Famer Edgerrin James.

In a standout performance, Taylor not only broke the record but also added two more touchdowns during the game, giving him a total of three scores. His achievement further established him in the Colts” record books, with another Hall of Famer, Lenny Moore, trailing with 63 rushing touchdowns in franchise history.

As the game went to overtime, Taylor scored again, this time rushing for 8 yards to secure a 31-25 victory for the Colts. Before facing the Falcons, he was leading the league with 895 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, and 14 total scores.
