Eagles” Lane Johnson Exits Game with Serious Knee Injury Against Packers

In a concerning turn of events for the Eagles, star offensive tackle Lane Johnson had to leave Monday night”s game against the Packers due to a troubling knee injury. This incident occurred in the second quarter while Johnson was engaged in a block on a running play.

During the play, Packers safety Evan Williams, while attempting to tackle Saquon Barkley, inadvertently collided with Johnson”s left leg. The impact caused Johnson to immediately collapse to the ground. He was seen hobbled as he exited the field and briefly entered the blue medical tent located on the sidelines.

After evaluation, Johnson was later escorted to the locker room by the head of security, Dom DiSandro, along with a trainer. The Eagles later announced that he was considered “questionable” to return due to the ankle injury.

Losing Johnson, a five-time All-Pro and a future Hall of Famer in his thirteenth NFL season, would be a significant blow to the Eagles. His performance places him among the elite offensive tackles in the league, making his absence felt both on the field and in the locker room.

In response to Johnson”s departure, swing tackle Fred Johnson was brought in to take over at right tackle, as the Eagles looked to adjust to the sudden challenge presented by the injury.
