NFL Week 10 Power Rankings: Eagles Rise to No. 1 as Teams Shift Positions

As the NFL regular season reaches its midpoint, the Week 10 power rankings have undergone significant changes following the losses of four out of the top six teams. The Philadelphia Eagles now sit at the top of the rankings, showcasing a strong 6-2 record.

Despite not always displaying their best performance, the Eagles have managed to maintain their winning form after claiming the Super Bowl title. Recently, they strengthened their roster by trading for cornerback Michael Carter from the Jets and pass rusher Jaelan Phillips from the Dolphins. The Eagles will face the Packers next on Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET.

In the second position are the Los Angeles Rams, who improved their standing from last week by defeating the Saints 34-10. Quarterback Matthew Stafford has been exceptional, playing at an MVP level, and the Rams” defense is currently leading the league in expected points added per play. They will be tested this Sunday against the 49ers at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Following closely is the Buffalo Bills, who have moved up to number three after a significant win against the Chiefs, ending their October losing streak. The Bills” defense needs to strengthen against the run, but they are on track as they head into the second half of the season. Their next matchup is against the Dolphins on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hold the fourth position after a bye week, maintaining their status as a solid Super Bowl contender in a competitive NFC. The Buccaneers” running game is anticipated to improve with the return of Bucky Irving, while their defense continues to perform well. They will meet the Patriots on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

The Indianapolis Colts round out the top five, despite a loss to the Steelers. The Colts have significantly boosted their Super Bowl chances this season, even after a game marred by turnovers. They are set to face the Falcons in Germany on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks are enjoying a resurgence, moving up to sixth place after a convincing victory against the Commanders. Quarterback Sam Darnold has emerged as a leading MVP candidate, showing impressive statistics across various metrics. Their next game is against the Cardinals on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.

As the rankings continue to shift, teams like the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots are also making strides. The Broncos, who are sitting at 7-2, edged out the Texans, while the Patriots garnered attention with their playoff odds improving significantly this season.

In contrast, teams like the Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans struggle to find their footing as they hold the bottom spots in the rankings. The Dolphins” recent changes, including the firing of their general manager, signal a need for a major overhaul. The Titans, having lost eight games, face a challenging season ahead.

As the NFL landscape continues to evolve, Week 10 promises more exciting matchups that could further shake up the standings.
