This historic championship match is scheduled for December 10 at Under Armour Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. The winning team will receive $250,000 for its athletic department, marking a substantial reward for the players and the school.
“Overtime is giving high school football a national stage like we”ve never seen before,” said Eric Kjar, head coach of Corner Canyon. “It”s a huge opportunity for our athletes to compete in front of a nationwide audience and show what our program is all about. This platform raises the bar for everyone, and we”re excited to step into that spotlight and embrace the challenge.”
Hunter Mandel, general manager of Overtime Football, emphasized that this championship aims to provide high school athletes with a pinnacle moment akin to that of the Super Bowl in the NFL and the College Football Playoff.
