In a promising development for the Denver Broncos, the team”s estimated injury report for Thursday Night Football revealed that four players have been upgraded to limited practice participants. This news comes as a relief following Monday”s report, which indicated that all four were listed as non-participants.
The players upgraded include safety Brandon Jones (foot), safety P.J. Locke (neck), wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion), and cornerback Riley Moss (ankle). Mims did not participate in practice last week and was inactive during Sunday”s victory over the Houston Texans, a game in which Locke also did not play.
On the defensive front, Moss was active throughout the game against the Texans, playing every defensive snap, while Jones was on the field for all but three snaps. Additionally, outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper (thumb), defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (shoulder), and defensive tackle D.J. Jones (knee) were estimated as full participants in Tuesday”s practice, having been listed as limited the previous day.
However, cornerback Pat Surtain II (pectoral), tight end Nate Adkins (knee), and kicker Wil Lutz (illness) were estimated as non-participants on Tuesday, with Lutz being a new addition to the injury report.
