Bay Area Girls Flag Football Rankings: Granada and San Ramon Valley Rise After NCS Semifinal Wins

The latest Bay Area News Group girls flag football rankings, updated on November 5, 2025, showcase the impressive performances of several teams following recent playoff games. Notably, both Granada and San Ramon Valley have climbed the ranks after their standout wins in the North Coast Section (NCS) semifinals. Additionally, Los Gatos has entered the top 10 following their victory in the Central Coast Section (CCS) quarterfinals against Carlmont.

In the rankings, Menlo School retains the top position despite suffering a narrow loss to Sacred Heart Prep by a score of 13-12. They bounced back with a strong win over Los Altos, defeating them 30-6. Menlo School is set to face Menlo-Atherton in the CCS Open Division semifinal on Thursday at 3 PM.

Sacred Heart Prep, holding the second spot, recently secured victories against Menlo School and Milpitas, winning 13-12 and 26-0, respectively. They will take on Los Gatos in the CCS Open Division semifinal on Wednesday at 3 PM.

Granada, ranked third, has made a significant jump from eighth place after dominating Heritage 33-0 and narrowly defeating Las Lomas 13-7. They will compete against San Ramon Valley in the NCS Division I championship on Thursday at 7 PM at Clayton Valley.

San Ramon Valley, now in fourth place, moved up from ninth after their victories against Liberty (8-2) and California (24-13). They are scheduled to face Granada in the NCS Division I championship.

California remains in fifth place but dropped from third after losing to San Ramon Valley. They finished their season with a record of 17-4.

Las Lomas, with a record of 25-1, is currently in sixth place, having lost to Granada after a win against Castro Valley. Liberty follows in seventh, having experienced a setback against San Ramon Valley.

As the playoffs continue, the excitement builds with teams like Los Gatos, who have also made strides in the rankings by edging out Carlmont 13-12. They are set to face Sacred Heart Prep in the CCS Division I semifinals.

In the lower rankings, Carlmont and Castro Valley are concluding their seasons after recent defeats. Acalanes holds the 13th spot after victories over Campolindo and St. Mary”s-Berkeley, preparing for the NCS Division II championship against Cardinal Newman.

Lastly, Menlo-Atherton rounds out the top 15 after solid performances, including a win against St. Francis SCP. They will face Menlo School in the CCS Open Division semifinal.
