The Tennessee Titans have strengthened their offseason roster by signing veteran center Trey Hill to a reserve/futures contract. This move was announced on Wednesday, adding Hill to the team”s 90-man offseason roster.
Despite the bulk of the Titans” scouting team being in Mobile for the Senior Bowl, general manager Mike Borgonzi is actively enhancing the roster. Hill, who entered the league as a sixth-round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2021 NFL Draft, has gained valuable experience in his early career. He participated in 13 games during his rookie season, starting in three of them.
In the 2022 season, Hill played in 11 games but found himself in a backup role. After being released by the Bengals in August 2024, he briefly joined their practice squad. The Chicago Bears signed him for the 2025 season, where he remained on their practice squad without being elevated for game action.
Overall, Hill has seen action in 24 NFL games, with three starts and substantial involvement in special teams. While reserve/futures contracts do not guarantee a spot on the final roster, Hill”s signing comes at a crucial time for the Titans. With veteran center Corey Levin entering free agency, the Titans currently find themselves needing experienced depth on the interior of their offensive line as they prepare for the upcoming season.
