UConn will be without star player Sarah Strong for their upcoming game against Butler, as the team announced that she will sit out to rest. This marks the first time in her collegiate career that Strong will miss a game.
In addition to Strong, Blanca Quiñonez is sidelined due to a shoulder injury, while teammate Caroline Ducharme continues to deal with a migraine. Both players have now missed four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Morgan Cheli and Ice Brady are still recovering from long-term injuries related to an ankle and knee issue, respectively. Their absence adds to the challenges faced by the Huskies as they prepare for the matchup.
