Puka Nacua to Appear in Toyota Commercial During Super Bowl

Puka Nacua, the wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, will not be on the field for this year”s Super Bowl, but he will still make an appearance during the game in a new commercial for Toyota. Nacua expressed his excitement, joking, “I think that still counts as me being in the Super Bowl, so I”m OK with that.”

The content of the commercial remains under wraps, but Nacua hinted it will evoke nostalgia, connecting viewers with their childhood. “We got some great athletes that are all representing Toyota. The story of connection, I think, is what you”re going to feel,” he explained. He elaborated on the theme, emphasizing a personal connection to one”s younger self and the lessons learned over time.

Nacua also had the opportunity to coach during the Toyota Glow-Up Classic, an all-girls flag football event that took place recently. He shared his enthusiasm, stating, “I had so much fun. They were throwing bombs.” He recalled instructing the players on their first play and appreciated their energy and enthusiasm. “We did a touchdown celebration with the Toyota Tundra on the side,” he noted, adding a playful reference to the competition with other participants like Michael Pittman and Jordan Love.

While Nacua took pride in his coaching experience, he humorously acknowledged his acting challenges for the commercial. “Whoever”s on the editing, I really appreciate you because I know I messed those lines up about 7 million times,” he remarked, reflecting on the difficulties of performing in front of the camera.

As the Super Bowl approaches, Nacua”s involvement with Toyota showcases his ability to connect with fans beyond the gridiron, highlighting the broader impact athletes can have in various roles.
