Puka Nacua and entrepreneur Shay Mitchell took center stage at the “Béis Bowl Weekend” pop-up event held at the San Francisco Brewing Co. in Ghirardelli Square. This exciting activation coincided with the festivities leading up to Super Bowl LX, drawing hundreds of fans to the iconic location ahead of the major game.
Nacua, who had an impressive 2025 season with the Rams, showcased his prowess as the NFL”s leader in receptions and receiving yards, finishing the regular season with 129 catches and 1,715 yards. His performance has made him a prominent figure in the sports-lifestyle crossover, particularly for the Béis brand.
While Bad Bunny headlined the Super Bowl halftime show, Shay Mitchell made headlines of her own by hosting the event on February 7. She dubbed it the Béis Bowl and chose Nacua as her co-host. In a social media post, she noted, “Bad Bunny did the halftime. Béis did the weekend,” accompanied by a photo featuring a digital timer set to 00:00:00 and branded traffic cones.
The exclusive event offered a “Gameplan” itinerary filled with football-themed challenges where Nacua and Mitchell engaged in friendly competition with attendees. This gathering allowed Nacua to connect with the local community shortly after participating in the 2026 Pro Bowl Games at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Rams head coach Sean McVay expressed pride in the players selected for the Pro Bowl, acknowledging the recognition of several alternates as well.
Despite not making it to the Super Bowl, Nacua continued to shine in the playoffs. In the NFC Championship game against the Seattle Seahawks, he recorded nine receptions for 165 yards and a touchdown. His presence also sparked a viral moment on social media when he playfully responded to actress Sydney Sweeney”s request for a skydiving partner, jokingly claiming he had reservations for them.
Although he later admitted to having a fear of heights, Nacua kept the joke alive during interviews, promising to capture a video of their skydiving adventure. His cleats, emblazoned with the “No Fear” mantra, served as a source of motivation. Meanwhile, Sweeney has recently been linked to music executive Scooter Braun, while Nacua was seen dining with influencer Hannah Stocking in West Hollywood.
As the excitement of Super Bowl weekend unfolded, the event hosted by Nacua and Mitchell showcased a unique blend of sports and lifestyle, further solidifying Nacua”s status as a rising star in the NFL.
