Raiders Set to Hire Andrew Janocko as Offensive Coordinator

In a significant move, the Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly set to hire Andrew Janocko, the quarterbacks coach for the Seattle Seahawks, as their new offensive coordinator. This information was confirmed by sources to ESPN”s Adam Schefter on Sunday.

This appointment marks a reunion between Janocko and Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak, as the two had previously collaborated in both New Orleans and Seattle. The Raiders are looking to improve after a disappointing 3-14 season, which ultimately led to the dismissal of first-year coach Pete Carroll.

Despite recent struggles, the Raiders have some promising offensive talent, including tight end Brock Bowers and running back Ashton Jeanty. Additionally, the team holds the top pick in the upcoming 2026 NFL draft, where they are anticipated to select Fernando Mendoza, the Indiana quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner.

On the same day, the Raiders also elevated run game coordinator and defensive line coach Rob Leonard to the position of defensive coordinator. This change reflects the team”s commitment to restructuring and strengthening their coaching staff as they prepare for the next season.
