The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly preparing to welcome Andrew Janocko, the quarterbacks coach for the Seattle Seahawks, as their new offensive coordinator. This addition comes as part of several significant staffing decisions made by head coach Klint Kubiak.
Janocko, age 37, has previously collaborated with Kubiak during their time at the New Orleans Saints and the Seahawks. Alongside Janocko, the Raiders are also expected to bring on Joe DeCamillis as their special teams coordinator. DeCamillis, who is 60 years old, recently served as an associate head coach and special teams coordinator at the University of South Carolina for the last two seasons. He boasts over three decades of experience as a special teams coach in the NFL and has won the Super Bowl twice.
These hires follow the news that Kubiak has elevated Rob Leonard, the defensive run-game coordinator and defensive line coach, to the role of defensive coordinator. As the Raiders continue to shape their coaching staff, updates on further developments are anticipated.
