When healthy, Moore has been among the top slot corners in the league. At 30 years old, he could serve as a short-term solution to bolster the Cowboys” defense if he becomes available.

With Todd Monken taking over as head coach, significant changes are anticipated within the team, which might lead to Ward”s release. Although he may not be at his peak performance at 29, he remains a solid cornerback with plenty left to contribute. The Browns face a $32.9 million cap hit for Ward in 2026, the second-highest on the team after Deshaun Watson. By designating Ward as a post-June 1 cut, Cleveland could save $20 million, making him an attractive option for Dallas if he hits the market.
