Arizona Cardinals Appoint Wendy Laurent as Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellow

The Arizona Cardinals have made another addition to their coaching staff, appointing Wendy Laurent as part of the Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship. This announcement comes under the leadership of new head coach Mike LaFleur.

Laurent is the eighth coach to be welcomed into this fellowship program, which aims to promote diversity and expand coaching opportunities at the highest levels of the sport. He previously served on the Cardinals” staff during training camp last year through the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.

In his new role, Laurent is expected to focus on working with either the offensive linemen or tight ends. His coaching background includes experience as the assistant tight ends coach at Ohio State in 2025 and a previous position as the tight ends coach at Dartmouth from 2022 to 2024.

Laurent”s playing career was spent at Penn State, where he played as an offensive lineman. The Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship was established prior to the 2015 NFL season to foster greater diversity within coaching ranks.
