The Indianapolis Colts have bolstered their position for the 2026 NFL Draft by acquiring two compensatory seventh-round picks along with a sixth-round pick. This addition follows a trade involving a seventh-round pick with the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for wide receiver Michael Pittman.
As it stands, the Colts will enter the draft with a total of seven selections. However, it is important to note that their original first-round pick, the 16th overall, was traded to the New York Jets as part of the deal for cornerback Sauce Gardner. Additionally, the Colts” sixth-round pick, currently the 196th overall, was sent to the Minnesota Vikings in a prior trade for defensive back Mekhi Blackmon.
In the upcoming draft, the Colts are expected to receive either the 214th or 216th pick from the Steelers, although the exact selection has yet to be confirmed. Coverage of the Colts continues throughout the season, with updates available via IndyStarTV and the Colts Insider newsletter.
