Maxx Crosby Stays Committed to Raiders Amid Trade Speculation

Maxx Crosby has chosen to remain with the Las Vegas Raiders, despite ongoing trade discussions surrounding him. The star defensive end is receiving accolades for his dedication during a challenging season.

Currently sitting at 2-6, the Raiders faced the Denver Broncos on Thursday, where Crosby led the defensive efforts. His determination has caught the attention of many, including NFL Network”s Mike Garafolo, who commended Crosby for being “a Raider in every sense of the word.” Garafolo recounted a particularly intense play, emphasizing Crosby”s relentless energy during a crucial goal-line stand against the Jacksonville Jaguars. “It”s first and goal at the one,” Garafolo noted. “The Jaguars are clearly scoring, and yet Crosby is flying into the backfield, playing like it”s the Super Bowl. He knows this is a lost season, knows big changes are probably coming, and still gives everything he has. I love watching him.”

Crosby discussed how he is handling the trade rumors during an appearance on Jim Gray”s “Let”s Go!” podcast. He mentioned his efforts to ignore the noise surrounding his future in Las Vegas. “I really try to block out all the noise,” Crosby stated. “Rumors and things of that nature. I can”t control them. It”s awkward seeing that stuff on the TVs in the facility, but my focus is on where my feet are, on winning, and on getting this team to where it needs to be.”

Despite the mounting frustration over the possibility of another missed playoff opportunity, Crosby”s loyalty to the Raiders remains strong. Rather than seeking a trade to a playoff contender, the 27-year-old is focused on contributing to the team”s improvement. “It”s not there at the moment, but we have another opportunity coming up,” he remarked. “Every day we get a chance to get better. My only focus is being the best version of myself, on and off the field, and bringing this team back to where it should be.”
