LANDOVER, Md. — In an impressive display of offensive prowess, the Detroit Lions secured a decisive 44-22 victory over the Washington Commanders under the guidance of head coach Dan Campbell.

The linebackers made an impact in critical moments, particularly Jack Campbell, who stopped a two-point conversion attempt in the fourth quarter. Both Campbell and Alex Anzalone were effective in their responsibilities, contributing to the team”s overall defensive effort. Grade: A

The secondary faced challenges, allowing several completions of significant yardage, including a 41-yard reception. However, Branch”s performance was notable, as he recorded 1.5 sacks during the game. Grade: B-

Special teams struggled, with Jake Bates having another kick blocked and the team allowing a 46-yard return. Despite this, Washington”s average starting field position remained manageable for the Lions. Grade: C-

Campbell”s decision to take over the play-calling duties paid off, resulting in the Lions” highest offensive output in weeks, nearly amassing 550 total yards and scoring on eight of nine drives.
