Arizona Cardinals Keep Offensive Line Coach Justin Frye for 2026 Season

The Arizona Cardinals have decided to keep Justin Frye as their offensive line coach for the upcoming 2026 season, following the hiring of Mike LaFleur as the team”s new head coach. This marks Frye”s second year in this role after he was brought on board by former head coach Jonathan Gannon last offseason.

Frye, who previously coached the offensive line at Ohio State, faced challenges last year as the Cardinals” offensive line struggled at times. However, there were noticeable improvements in the development of younger players as the season progressed. Notably, undrafted rookie tackle Josh Fryar made significant contributions, demonstrating his potential on the field.

Another player, Isaiah Adams, who initially had a tough start to the season, rebounded strongly after being benched in favor of Will Hernandez. After Hernandez was sidelined due to injury, Adams showcased his abilities, finishing the season on a positive note. Additionally, Jon Gaines saw considerable playing time down the stretch and performed adequately for the team.

With LaFleur at the helm, the Cardinals” offensive staff is beginning to take shape. The current lineup includes notable coaches such as offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, quarterbacks coach Matt Schaub, running backs coach Matt Merritt, and wide receivers coach Tony Sorrentino, alongside Frye as the offensive line coach.
