The Titans are currently seeking a replacement for interim coach Mike McCoy, who took over after Brian Callahan was let go following a disappointing start to the season, with a record of 1-5.
During his tenure with the Giants, Daboll posted a record of 20 wins, 40 losses, and 1 tie over three and a half seasons. Before joining the Giants, he served as the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills for four years, where he achieved notable success with two consecutive top-five offenses, primarily led by quarterback Josh Allen.
In Daboll”s inaugural season with the Giants, the team improved from four victories to nine and managed to secure a playoff win, largely attributed to the development of quarterback Daniel Jones. However, the situation deteriorated in 2023 as the Giants struggled with a 1-5 start and faced further setbacks with Jones suffering injuries. Ultimately, Daboll was dismissed after the team began the 2025 season with a record of 2-8.
One interesting aspect of his upcoming interview with the Titans is whether Daboll will don a suit, reminiscent of his first appearance at the Giants” facilities, where he gained attention for stepping out of a large truck while dressed sharply and carrying a briefcase.
