The New York Giants are moving forward with their coaching search, having recently appointed Matt Nagy as their new offensive coordinator. In a strategic move to bolster their offensive staff, they are set to interview Brian Callahan for the position of quarterbacks coach.
According to reports from Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, Callahan”s interview comes after a challenging tenure as head coach of the Tennessee Titans, where he was dismissed after just six games into the 2025 season, finishing with a record of 4-19. His time in Tennessee marked his second year in the role.
Before taking over as head coach for the Titans, Callahan enjoyed a successful five-season run as the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals. His experience also includes serving as the quarterbacks coach for both the Las Vegas Raiders and the Detroit Lions.
Should he secure the position with the Giants, Callahan will play a crucial role in the development of Jaxson Dart, who was selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. His expertise in nurturing quarterbacks could be instrumental as the Giants look to enhance their offensive capabilities in the upcoming season.
