The head coach of the Super Eagles, Éric Chelle, has decided to restrict media access to the team”s training sessions on Thursday and Friday as they gear up for their Round of 16 match against Mozambique. Reports from camp indicate that the Super Eagles will train behind closed doors during these sessions.
Chelle emphasized the need for uninterrupted time with his players to fine-tune their strategies without outside distractions. However, the media will have the opportunity to observe the team”s training activities on Saturday and Sunday.
The Super Eagles have showcased an impressive performance at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, winning all three of their group stage matches and scoring the most goals in the tournament with a total of eight. They will face Mozambique next Monday at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, with a place in the quarter-finals on the line.
