Titans Pursue Interviews with Packers” Jeff Hafley and Steelers” Arthur Smith

The Tennessee Titans are actively expanding their search for a new head coach. Recent reports indicate they have reached out to schedule interviews with Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley and Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.

However, both Hafley and Smith will be unable to participate in interviews this week due to their respective teams competing this weekend. They are expected to be available for virtual interviews next week.

Hafley joined the Packers coaching staff under head coach Matt LaFleur in 2024, coming from a four-year stint as the head coach at Boston College. His experience in college football and the NFL has made him a notable candidate.

On the other hand, Arthur Smith has a long history with the Titans, having spent a decade coaching with the team, including two seasons as their offensive coordinator. He was later hired as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons in 2021 but was dismissed after a three-season tenure that resulted in a 21-30 record. Smith has since been part of Mike Tomlin“s staff in Pittsburgh for the past two years.

As the Titans continue their coaching search, the addition of these two candidates adds significant depth to their list of potential hires.
