Colorado Buffaloes Secure Home Victory Over Oklahoma State Cowboys

The Colorado Buffaloes continued their strong performance at home by overcoming the Oklahoma State Cowboys 83-69 in a Big 12 Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon. This victory marked the Buffaloes” third consecutive win at their home court.

Initially, Colorado seized a significant advantage, establishing a 17-point lead after a dominant 20-2 run in the first half. However, the Cowboys managed to narrow the gap, trailing 42-34 at halftime. Following the break, Oklahoma State surged ahead with a 14-5 run, briefly taking a one-point lead.

The game reached a critical point when the score was tied at 53-53. The Buffaloes responded decisively, scoring eight consecutive points to regain control and never looked back. Leading the Buffaloes in scoring was Bangot Dak, who recorded 17 points while shooting 5-for-8 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free-throw line.

Point guard Barrington Hargress also contributed significantly, finishing the game with 16 points, eight assists, and four rebounds. Additionally, the Buffaloes broke out of a recent slump in three-point shooting, hitting 11 of their 27 attempts from beyond the arc.
