The College Football Playoff is set to begin in Norman, Oklahoma, and Nick Saban will be part of the excitement. ESPN has announced the destinations for its popular show, College GameDay, for the first round of the playoffs, giving fans a chance to see the action live.
On December 19, College GameDay will be at the University of Oklahoma for the highly anticipated matchup between the No. 8 Sooners and No. 9 Alabama. The following day, the crew will head south to College Station, where No. 7 Texas A&M will take on No. 10 Miami. This choice is interesting, especially since there is only one playoff game on the first day, but ESPN has opted for the A&M-Miami clash over other potential matchups.
On December 20, Oregon will face James Madison, and Ole Miss will compete against Tulane, but ESPN seems to believe that the A&M-Miami game will provide a more competitive atmosphere. For the Sooners, this appearance marks the second time this season that College GameDay has visited their campus, following their game against Michigan on September 6. In contrast, the Aggies will be welcoming Saban and his team to College Station for the first time this season, as they aim to defeat the Hurricanes and secure a spot against Ohio State.
