The Florida State Seminoles are actively pursuing four-star offensive lineman Peyton Miller, who recently had a positive visit to the campus. Miller, a standout prospect from Anna, Texas, attended FSU”s spring practices, which have been a focal point for the coaching staff as they strive to secure their first commitment for the 2027 recruiting class.
FSU has shown consistent interest in Miller, having extended a scholarship offer back in June 2024. Since then, he has made it a point to visit the university each year. In a conversation with Chris Nee of Noles247, Miller expressed his enthusiasm about the recent visit, highlighting the energy and intensity he observed during practice. “It was really good. It was good to come down here and get to see everything. Everybody wants to see how Florida State produces this year after a couple rougher years. What I saw today, I think they are going to do that,” he remarked.
Miller described the practice atmosphere as highly charged, with no pauses and a focus on maintaining a fast pace. He noted, “Practice was very intense, high energy, moving around a lot. No breaks. Just go-go-go. Norvell is all over the place and he is making sure the attention to detail is there and holding a bunch of people accountable. It was just good to come out here and see that and see what I could be a part of.”
Ranked as the No. 170 overall player and No. 9 interior offensive lineman in the 247Sports composite rankings, Miller stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 290 pounds. He is also recognized as the No. 24 player from Texas. Although he has made three visits to FSU, he has not yet arranged an official visit but is considering it. “They are definitely near the top. I haven”t scheduled an OV with them yet and I need to check my calendar when I get back, but hopefully we can pin down a date for that,” he stated.
Time is of the essence for the Seminoles as Miller already has several official visits lined up, including trips to the Arizona State Sun Devils on April 16, the SMU Mustangs on May 1, the Clemson Tigers on May 29, the Texas Longhorns on June 5, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders on June 19.
