Travel Recommendations
Travelers should be aware that Interstate 80 exits at I-180/Downtown may experience congestion. It is advisable for visitors to consider alternative routes into Lincoln. North Ninth and North 10th streets will have up to two lanes closed due to ongoing construction, so expect delays in these areas.
Recommended routes include the exit 399 from I-80 at West Cornhusker Highway, as well as the North 27th Street exit and the Rosa Parks Way exit from Highway 77.
Stadium Drive west of the stadium will be closed to all vehicle traffic, and passenger drop-offs and pickups will not be allowed in front of the stadium before or after the game. Fans can instead be dropped off and picked up at the intersection of 10th and Charleston streets.
Access to the Haymarket from Ninth Street via R, Q, and P streets will be restricted 2.5 hours prior to the game. Drivers are encouraged to use N Street for access to the Haymarket and Railyard. Furthermore, the northbound lane of Antelope Valley Parkway north of Salt Creek Road will be closed from halftime until one hour after the game.
Additional Notes
This year, the Big Red Express service will not operate for the spring game. Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft have established a drop-off and pickup zone on Vine Street, just east of 14th Street. Notably, the ScooterLNK scooters will be unavailable for use this Saturday.
For attendees from the University of Nebraska, all campus parking lots will open at 6 a.m., accepting credit and debit cards only, with stadium gates opening at 9:30 a.m. Fans should also remember that a clear bag policy will be enforced when entering Memorial Stadium.
