Oklahoma Tops Missouri 17-6, Advances Toward Playoff Contention

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — No. 8 Oklahoma secured a 17-6 win over No. 23 Missouri on Saturday, moving them closer to a potential spot in the College Football Playoff.

Quarterback John Mateer led the Sooners with two touchdown passes, completing 173 yards through the air while also rushing for 60 yards. Isaiah Sategna was a standout receiver, hauling in three passes for 109 yards and one touchdown.
