Alabama Football Players Recognized in AP All-SEC Teams

The Alabama Crimson Tide had a strong showing in the Associated Press All-SEC teams, with two players making the first team and one on the second team. Kadyn Proctor, a standout left tackle, was named to the first team and shared the prestigious Jacobs Blocking Trophy awarded by the SEC. Proctor has been a key component of Alabama”s offensive line, starting all 13 games this season and allowing only one sack. Additionally, he has contributed to the team”s offense by carrying the ball, accumulating 16 yards and three first downs, with his first touch occurring during Alabama”s victory against Georgia.

Joining Proctor on the first team is Bray Hubbard, a talented safety. Both Proctor and Hubbard were also recognized as Alabama”s first-team representatives in the All-SEC squads voted on by the conference”s coaches, which were announced earlier this week.

Although Ty Simpson, the redshirt junior quarterback, has faced challenges in recent games, he played a significant role when Alabama performed at its best this season. Simpson has thrown for 3,268 yards, recording 26 touchdowns and five interceptions. The Crimson Tide”s 2025 season is not over yet, as they prepare to face Oklahoma on December 19 in their first game of the College Football Playoff. This matchup comes after Oklahoma defeated Alabama earlier in the season in Tuscaloosa.

As the team looks ahead, fans and analysts alike will be watching to see how these standout players perform in the upcoming playoff game, hoping to learn from past mistakes and secure a victory against a formidable opponent.
