Bo Nix a Low-End Starter in Fantasy Football Week 17 Against Chiefs

As Fantasy football enthusiasts prepare for the championship round in Week 17, Bo Nix presents a compelling option despite being a polarizing figure among quarterbacks. This week, he faces the Kansas City Chiefs, and I believe he holds potential as a low-end starter across most leagues.

Nix recently achieved a personal best with 352 passing yards in his last game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, although he only found the end zone once. He did have a challenging outing with an interception and a fumble, compounded by missed opportunities including key drops and a potential touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton.

Over his last five games, Nix has thrown for at least 295 yards in four of them. However, he has only surpassed 18.4 Fantasy points in one of his last six performances. Given the current state of the Chiefs, who are out of playoff contention, I anticipate Nix will have a favorable matchup. In Week 16, the Chiefs allowed Cam Ward to score 22 Fantasy points, marking one of three quarterbacks who have recorded at least 20.8 Fantasy points against Kansas City in their last five games.

Earlier this season, Nix struggled against the Chiefs, posting only 12.6 Fantasy points in their first encounter. However, he did manage to score 20.1 points in Kansas City during the previous season”s matchup. Given these factors, I expect him to produce in a similar range this week.

While I wish Nix had shown more consistent Fantasy production recently, particularly in relation to his passing yards, I believe he has the capability to perform well in this matchup. He should be able to secure a position as a top Fantasy quarterback in all leagues for Week 17.
