ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals halted a five-game losing streak with a 27-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, thanks to Jacoby Brissett“s impressive performance. Brissett, filling in for Kyler Murray again, threw for two touchdowns and added a rushing score in his third consecutive start.
Murray was expected to return from a foot injury following the team”s bye week, but the Cardinals opted to continue with Brissett. This victory marked only the second time in the last 18 games that the Cardinals won when Murray did not play significant snaps.
