The Detroit Lions may not have achieved their team goals in 2025, yet several players stood out individually. On Friday, the Associated Press recognized four of these players with All-Pro honors.
Linebacker Jack Campbell and offensive tackle Penei Sewell earned first-team All-Pro selections, while receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and defensive end Aidan Hutchinson were named to the second team. This marks Campbell”s first All-Pro recognition in his career.
In a remarkable 2025 season, Campbell had a breakout performance, racking up 176 tackles, 17 pressures, five sacks, four pass deflections, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He led the NFL with 44 run stops, plays that halted offensive rushing attempts, and logged more total snaps than any of his teammates, totaling 1,190 across defense and special teams. Notably, Campbell is the first Lions linebacker to achieve first-team All-Pro status since Chris Spielman in 1991.
Sewell received his third first-team All-Pro accolade, making him the only offensive lineman in the Lions” history during the Super Bowl era (since 1966) to earn multiple first-team awards from the AP. Lomas Brown is the only other Lions lineman to receive one.
Amon-Ra St. Brown came close to securing his third consecutive first-team honors, a feat accomplished by only nine receivers in the Super Bowl era. He finished the season with 1,401 receiving yards, ranking fifth among all receivers, and caught 117 passes for 11 touchdowns. His 591 yards gained after the catch ranked sixth in the league, while he also contributed to 71 first downs.
The competition for receiver spots was fierce, with Seattle”s Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Los Angeles Rams” Puka Nacua securing their positions on the first team. Cincinnati”s Ja”Marr Chase claimed the final spot, concluding his season with 1,412 yards and eight touchdowns.
Hutchinson had an impressive season, achieving a career-high 14.5 sacks and 35 quarterback hits. He led the league with 100 pressures, a statistic tracked by Pro Football Focus. Hutchinson is the only player to record multiple seasons with at least 100 pressures since PFF began tracking these numbers.
The All-Pro teams are determined by a panel of 50 sports media members, where first-team votes carry a weight of three points and second-team votes one point. Other Lions players who received recognition included running back Jahmyr Gibbs, safety Brian Branch, punter Jack Fox, and long snapper Hogan Hatten.
In the previous year, the Lions had six players named to the All-Pro teams, including St. Brown, Sewell, safety Kerby Joseph, and punter Jack Fox on the first team, while now-retired center Frank Ragnow and punt returner Kalif Raymond were on the second team.
