Mecole Hardman Jr Discusses Feeling Excluded in First Bills Practice

Mecole Hardman Jr is now part of the Buffalo Bills, but he has expressed feelings of being somewhat isolated due to a specific gesture from his new quarterback. On Monday, Hardman joined the defending AFC East champions” practice squad, and during his first practice on Wednesday, he experienced an awkward moment.

While attempting to engage with Josh Allen, Hardman shared that their “handshake” was essentially just their hands colliding. In contrast, Allen performed more intricate handshakes with other teammates, leaving Hardman feeling a bit left out.

After practice, Hardman spoke with the media about his experience and the potential of getting on the field. He also mentioned his eagerness to contribute to the team as he settles into his new environment in Orchard Park.

Sean McDermott, the head coach of the Bills, provided his perspective on welcoming Hardman to the squad, emphasizing the value he brings to the team. Prior to joining the Bills, Hardman had been with the Green Bay Packers, bouncing on and off their practice squad without seeing any game action.

Hardman”s quest to find a team did not come without effort. Recently, he was one of five players reported to have worked out with the Las Vegas Raiders, participating in a session alongside three other wide receivers, including Hal Presley and DJ Turner.

Turner and another teammate, guard Layden Robinson, ultimately secured practice squad contracts with the Raiders, while Presley signed with the Tennessee Titans. As of now, Hardman and his former teammate Israel Abanikanda remain unsigned but Hardman has now found his place with the Bills.

As Hardman integrates into his new team, fans and analysts alike will be watching to see how he can make an impact on the field in the upcoming NFL season.
