Puka Nacua and Shay Mitchell Shine at Béis Bowl Weekend in San Francisco

Puka Nacua and entrepreneur Shay Mitchell made a splash at San Francisco”s Ghirardelli Square during the “Béis Bowl Weekend” pop-up event held at the San Francisco Brewing Co. This activation was designed to take advantage of the excitement surrounding Super Bowl LX. The event at 3150 Polk Street attracted hundreds of fans to “The City by the Bay” as they geared up for the championship game.

Nacua had a standout 2025 season with the Los Angeles Rams. The former BYU wide receiver, coming off a First-team All-Pro selection, topped the NFL charts with 129 receptions and amassed 1,715 receiving yards in the regular season. His impressive performance positioned him as the face of the brand”s inaugural major sports-lifestyle crossover.

While Bad Bunny headlined the halftime show at the Super Bowl, Shay Mitchell also made headlines of her own, dubbing the event the Béis Bowl. Hosting the event on February 7, she chose Nacua to be her official co-host. “Bad Bunny did the halftime. Béis did the weekend,” she posted alongside a photo featuring a digital countdown timer set to 00:00:00 and white traffic cones emblazoned with the Béis logo. In the image, Mitchell sported a brown leather jacket and plaid skirt, while Nacua appeared in a blazer and jeans.

The exclusive activation included a “Gameplan” itinerary featuring football-themed challenges that saw Nacua and Mitchell competing against guests. Nacua took the opportunity to connect with the local community shortly after his participation in the 2026 Pro Bowl Games at San Francisco”s Moscone Center. “I”m really happy for those guys; I think there were a lot of guys that were also recognized as alternates,” remarked Rams head coach Sean McVay regarding the Pro Bowl honors.

Although Nacua missed out on the Super Bowl, he continued his impressive play into the postseason. During the NFC Championship on January 25, he recorded nine catches for 165 yards and a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks. Nacua was also active on social media, sparking a viral moment on January 31 when he quoted an interview with actress Sydney Sweeney, who mentioned needing someone to “go skydiving with me.” Nacua responded, “Love skydiving,” and later escalated the joke during the Super Bowl media week, claiming, “I have reservations for us on Wednesday, actually.”

However, Nacua later admitted to Overtime that his claim was a playful joke, confessing that he actually has a fear of heights. Speaking with NFL Network“s Colleen Wolfe ahead of the NFL Honors, he maintained his humorous approach, promising to “get a video of it.” The phrase “No Fear” displayed on his cleats served as motivation for him.

While Nacua enjoyed his playful banter online, Sweeney has been linked to music executive Scooter Braun throughout early 2026. In contrast, Nacua was spotted dining with influencer Hannah Stocking at Matsuhisa in West Hollywood on January 31.

In other news related to the Rams, a Super Bowl champion with 148 career starts announced their retirement, and the team has been linked to a trade for a popular Eagles backup quarterback as insurance for Matthew Stafford. Analysts have suggested that the Rams may feel “sick” watching the Seahawks win the Super Bowl.
