Top Five Most Expensive Flawless Football Card Sales Revealed

Flawless Football has been the leading product for NFL rookie patch autographed cards since its debut in 2014. As anticipation builds for the release of the 2025 set, which may be the last to feature official NFL logos and team names before Fanatics assumes the licensing in April, collectors are reflecting on significant sales from past editions.

The upcoming Panini Flawless Football set, scheduled to launch on February 27, 2026, includes six cards packaged in a briefcase rather than traditional cardboard. With this new release on the horizon, let”s take a look back at some of the most valuable sales from the previous Flawless Football cards, as compiled by Card Ladder.

Leading the list is a remarkable card featuring Patrick Mahomes. His rookie 2017 Flawless Platinum one-of-one Signatures card, which showcases a full image of Mahomes on the left side and his blue ink signature beneath an embedded diamond, fetched an impressive $168,000 in an auction on August 21, 2021. This sale took place through Fanatics Collect (formerly known as PWCC) and attracted 44 bids.

In fourth place is another iconic quarterback, Tom Brady. His 2014 Flawless Patches Autographs Emerald parallel, which is numbered 1-of-5, features a bust shot of Brady with his signature positioned to the right. The patch is believed to be from the logo on his jersey”s shoulder, and the card”s graphics are embossed in green for the Emerald version. This card sold for $204,000 on September 25, 2025, after receiving 48 bids at Fanatics Collect.

Claiming the third spot is Joe Burrow with his 2020 Shield Signatures one-of-one card, graded PSA 6 with an autograph grade of 10. The card features Burrow in the upper right corner, with the shield and his autograph nearby, all embossed in a striking teal, green, and gold tint. It was sold for $205,000 at Goldin Auctions after 38 bids on February 7, 2022. Notably, this card lacks the rookie card (RC) logo, even though Burrow was the first overall pick in the 2020 draft.

The second highest sale comes from Justin Herbert, who shares the same rookie class as Burrow. His 2020 Shield Signatures one-of-one autograph card is horizontally oriented, showcasing a small image of him from the legs up on the right while the NFL shield dominates the left side. Just below the shield is Herbert”s blue-ink autograph along with his jersey number. This card, which also does not display the RC logo, commanded a sale price of $229,200 on August 10, 2021, at Goldin Auctions.

At the top of the list is another standout card featuring Mahomes. His rookie Shield autograph from the 2017 Flawless set, also one-of-one, captures young Mahomes with the NFL shield positioned just above his blue ink signature. This card achieved a sale of $312,000 at an auction with Goldin, and while the image provided shows a raw card encased with a Panini Flawless sticker, the title on Card Ladder indicates it was graded BGS 7.5 with an autograph grade of 10. The sale took place on April 7, 2021.
