The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) playoffs are set to commence this week, showcasing a trio of Class 6A powerhouses in pursuit of national recognition. The Grayson Rams, Buford Wolves, and Carrollton Trojans have all secured spots in the national Top 15 according to The Sporting News Composite Rankings.
This season, the elite high school football teams from Georgia”s upper divisions consistently rank among the nation”s best. The 2025 season has proven to be no different, with four teams currently listed in The Sporting News High School Football Top 25. These four include three Class 6A giants, specifically Grayson at No. 2, Buford at No. 5, and Carrollton at No. 15. The fourth team, the Class 4A Creekside Seminoles, also stands out, with all four teams entering the playoffs undefeated at 10-0.
The playoffs will kick off this Friday night, November 14, 2025, with matchups across Georgia”s top classifications. Weekly updates on the playoff brackets will be provided for the top three classifications as the postseason unfolds in the Peach State.
