The Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Association has officially announced the rosters for the East versus West Large School football all-star game. This highly anticipated event is scheduled for May 17 at Cumberland Valley High School.
The large school classification encompasses athletes from Class 4A through 6A. The all-star game will commence at noon, followed by the small school game at 5 p.m. The small school roster was made public earlier this week.
For the East Team, the quarterbacks include Noah Keating from Pennridge and Cole Ordway from Easton Area. The running back positions feature Drew Engle of Twin Valley and Sean Steckert from Southern Lehigh. The tight end is Kurtis Crossman from Easton Area, while the wide receiver corps consists of Jaiden Carpenter (Wilson), Jacob Pukszyn (Liberty), Daryus Dixon (Manheim Township), and Ishamel Palmer (Bishop McDevitt).
The offensive line for the East Team includes Collier Book (Central Dauphin), Cameron English (Phoenixville Area), Collin Shelley (Lampeter-Strasburg), Dylan Caster (North Pocono), Cooper Ward (Downingtown East), Christopher Hersman (CD East), and Jude Slover (Bishop McDevitt).
On the defensive front, the tackles are Robert Edwards (Emmaus), Emile Ayache (Bethlehem Catholic), and Jayden Riley (Susquehanna Township), while the defensive ends are Julian Enoch (Roman Catholic), Algee Macon (East), and Timmy Fuhrmeister (Central Bucks East).
The linebacking corps includes inside linebackers Noah Ewell (Harrisburg), Chase Eisenhower (Wyomissing Area), and Nate Szydlik (Council Rock South), as well as outside linebackers John Morrin (Downingtown East), Joel McClain (Oxford Area), and Evan Wolff (North Pocono).
The East Team”s defensive backs feature cornerbacks Luther Sehwah (Downingtown East), Jadyn Johnson (Central Dauphin), and Zahaid Edwards-Boone (Pope John Paul II), along with safeties Willie Norris (Imhotep Charter) and Akeelyn Smith (Bishop McDevitt). Completing the East roster are long snapper Potter Rudl (Upper Dublin), kicker Cole Richards (Whitehall), and punter Keegan Maher (Wyomissing Area).
Doug Dahms from Wilson serves as the head coach, with assistant coaches including Dan Chang (Plymouth Whitemarsh), Rich Mannello (Dallas), Robert Flowers (Muhlenberg), and Marc Persin (Shamokin Area).
For the West Team, quarterbacks are Jonah Williamson (Trinity) and Cole DeLattre (Hollidaysburg). The running backs are Caden Halajcio (Montour) and Cole Neupaver (Peters Township). The tight end position is filled by Josh Lenart (Norwin), while wide receivers include Brayden Billman (New Oxford), Gabe Hein (Mars), Jaxon Hanzely (DuBois Area), and Shawn Moorefield (Gateway).
The West Team”s offensive line features Kaiyen Mbandi (Gateway), Sean Franklin (Mars), Austin Harr (Hollidaysburg), Jackson York (Hollidaysburg), Caden Solomon (Central York), Robereson Louis-Jeune (Gateway), and Josh Gillen (Cedar Cliff).
Defensively, the West Team has tackles Brock Heisler (Hempfield Area), Adam Budzilek (Mars), and Martin Francis (Cumberland Valley), with ends Owen Urschler (North Allegheny) and Jared Corwin (General McLane).
Inside linebackers are Will Kocher (Cedar Cliff), Cleaster Longmire (Aliquippa), and Joseph Lutz (North Hills), while outside linebackers include Grant Pillar (Pine-Richland), Josh Banks (Hollidaysburg), and Brody Pines (Cumberland Valley).
The defensive backs for the West Team are cornerbacks Jayden Revis (Moon), Henry Mutschler (Hempfield), and Xavier Curry (Clearfield), along with safeties Dwayne Morgan (Central York) and Lucas Rost (Peters Township). The West roster also includes long snapper Tyler Whitmire (Boiling Springs), kicker Chayse Snyder (Cumberland Valley), and punter Evan Pfeifer (Norwin).
Gerard Yonchiuk from Central York is the head coach for the West Team, with assistants Mylers Caragein (Clearfield), Matt Heiser (Gettysburg), Shane Breon (Mifflin County), Mark Matson (Allderdice), and Ryan Lehmeier (Pittsburgh Central Catholic).
