He has a noteworthy track record, including three interceptions in a single playoff game.
Another key target is veteran edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney, who turns 33 next week. Clowney, a former first overall pick, has had a unique career trajectory, showcasing a significant increase in his sack production over the last five seasons. His most recent performance included 8.5 sacks, and he could provide valuable depth and experience at a reasonable cost, having played for just $3.45 million last season.
Devin Bush, a 27-year-old linebacker, is another player on the Cowboys” radar. After a successful season with the Cleveland Browns, where he accumulated 125 tackles, three interceptions, two sacks, and two forced fumbles, Bush could be a coveted addition. He was once the 10th overall draft pick, and his projected market value is around $12 million annually, according to Pro Football Focus.
Lastly, the Cowboys may also consider George Pickens, who had an impressive 2025 season, catching 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns after his acquisition from the Steelers. Although he is due for a significant salary, the Cowboys could utilize the franchise tag as a short-term solution while managing their cap space. Pickens has consistently averaged 15 yards per catch throughout his NFL career, making him a valuable asset.
